9/19/08 - Representative Alicea (D-Charlton) announced today that grants totaling $31,500 have been awarded to cultural organizations and community groups in his district by the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC). These grants support a variety of cultural activities that benefit local residents. The announcement was made as a part of a statewide funding program by the MCC.

9/5/08 - Representative Geraldo Alicea (D-Charlton) recently celebrated the grand opening of his new campaign headquarters, located on 212 Hamilton Street in Southbridge. Over 100 supporters attended the event, including numerous local and state leaders such as Senator Richard Moore, Senator Stephen Brewer, Worcester County Sheriff Guy Glodis, Representative Vincent Pedone and Representative Anne Gobi, as well as other local dignitaries.
